TMR Week 30
I have chosen to miss James and Dank to make the table less cumbersome than it already is. Dank had Kyle Busch (50), Montoya (26), Biffle (24), Edwards (18), Earnhardt (17),Allmendinger (1), and Johnson (1), giving a score of 137. James had McMurray(35), Kahne(30), Biffle(24), J. Gordon(19), Harvick(16), Stewart(3), and Johnson(1), giving a total of 128. The table is sized so it should just fit if you have a screen-height of 768 pixels and use full-screen on the browser (F11). Sorry if you need to use zoom.

Below, I have totaled everyone’s points for each series, divided by the number of collective picks to work out the mean average, and calculated an efficiency percentage. For each player I worked out how much their potential maximum score was, 50 for one driver, 90 for two picks, 125 for three, et cetera, and added all these to create the maximum if we all got perfect scores (this time allowing for sportscar shared-drive picks giving the possibility of two or three winners, and so forth). The efficiency is the total of our scores as a percentage of this maximum total.
Total | Picks | Average | Maximum | Efficiency | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
ALMS | 610 | 16 | 38·1 | 760 | 80·3% |
LMS | 57 | 16 | 03·6 | 760 | 07·5% |
WRC | 420 | 11 | 38·2 | 510 | 82·4% |
IRL | 667 | 16 | 41·7 | 715 | 93·3% |
DTM | 507 | 15 | 33·8 | 642 | 79·0% |
NASCAR | 205 | 16 | 12·8 | 682 | 30·1% |
(I excluded the selections of James and Dank as they only had NASCAR carryover picks. I did decide to include Burwellian, as he had a full set, albeit chosen for another week.)
